Rojukiss Enca Acne Control BB Cream [Review & Swatches]

I took a fancy for BB creams when they hit a blogsphere like storm but they never happen to work for me in anyway. Let's have a look what I've to say about this BB Cream.

Roujkiss Enca Acne Control BB Cream

EENCA AC Control BB Cream is a tri-functional cream solving at a time all the agony of whitening, wrinkle care and sun screening which sensitive skin ineviatably brings up.

My Verdict

I have an oily skin so I seriously can't use any type of BB cream as they made me oil slick within an hour as most of them are too moisturizing or should say greasy and till date I'm not able to find any BB cream that works well for my oily skin.

Firstly, the shade was not a match for my NC-35 skintone as I fall under yellow/golden undertone and Enca Acne Control BB Cream having grayish pink undertone so a total mismatch for me and the moment I applied it on my face I looked like a ghost next moment. This is not the first korean BB cream which has gray-pink undertone as most of the korean BB creams have that undertone to brighten up the yellow/golden complexion. It's not obvious when you applied it in real life but photograpy and for camera it's not the one that I happened to wear it. However for the coverage, I've to say I'm impressed by the coverage I get with this which is medium and can be built to give you a full coverage which is a HUGE added plus as most of the BB creams offer sheer to light coverage and however built to give you a light-medium coverage.

Before moving on further, I want to disclose I've a problematic skin as I had faced worst acne in my early twenties and as I've oily acne prone skin for the reason I have tenancy to get breakouts so easily with wrong products that doesn't suit my skin or cause of extreme humidity or clogged pores as a reason of which my skin is still in recovery face hence having few acne scars remaining which are in process of fading away as they do take lot of time before going away. I'm writing this review from a oily skin perspective it's no different than other BB creams strike a market recently and blog-sphere like anything. I love the texture, the finish and the oil control properties. It kinds of blends well naturally in skin but left a gray cast on me which looks ok in natural light but for camera it was looking horrible and I dared not to take a full face picture. The texture is thick but not too thick and controlled application gives a matte finish to skin and you can expat a good coverage but if you have dark blemishes and scars or any other imperfections you might need separate concealer to conceal them.

What blew me away is it's oil control. That is OH-SO-AH-MAZING and I can easily compare it with Rachel K CC Cream (review coming soon) that has a really good oil control properties and unlike other BB creams which tend to make you oil slick within no time after application and one may have to blot or touch up several time to keep the oil at its bay but with ENCA Acne Control CC Cream you may need to blot or may need touch up once or twice during entire day and it keeps you matter for a long time and if you living somewhere it's not that humid in my opinion you may don't need to blot oil away for once even. As I live half of the time in Pakistan and half of the time in Dubai where weather is almost humid almost all around the year and humidity makes it very hard for me to manage any product to stay put on me for a quite long time and I am glad it did work for me. Although it kept me matte for good 4-5 hours and my t-zone started turning shiny after that but that was not something that blotting can't fix and after that it kept it oil at its bay for another 2-3 hours which is quite impressive for me  for BB cream.

So yeah, if you have problematic acne prone skin like me or if you simply want to use something light-weight for your oily skin keeping oil at it's bay I'd like to say you must try Enca Acne Control BB Cream as it's definitely meant for oily acne prone skin but I'm not sure if you have dry/normal skin or you may need to use quite ample amount of moisturizer prior using this to so that it may not high-light you dry patches.

My Rating

3.5/5

Overall, I'm super impressed with Enca Acne Control BB Cream and definitely recomment it to everyone who has oily skin along with acne problems although it comes only in one shade which is one of the biggest con for me. Roujkiss Enca Acne Control BB Cream comes in 50 ml travel friendly packaging and priced 21.99$ and can be purchased from WishTrend's website. They ship worldwide.

  2. Looks very interesting..I feel though as if many BB creams do work better for combination - oily skin types as they are very drying...
