My Verdict

As soon as I came across with this Five pieces make up brush set only one word popped up in my mind ''Sigma Five Pieces Synthetic Kabuki Brushes'' which actually made me quite excited about it as they are quite inexpensive makeup brushes I come across until now as they look quite alike Sigma brushes with the fraction of price. All five of them have synthetic bristles which mean they are ideal for applying cream and liquid products as they pack on cream/liquid foundations, concealers, cream blushes etc., quite nicely and pack on pigmentation effortlessly and gives a nice canvas for smooth and precise blending.

Let's have a look at them individually :

Flat Top Brush :

This is by far my least favorite from the lot. Reason being I've been trying quite a lot flat top buffer brushes I'm hooked by my Sigma F80 flat top buffer brush as that applies my foundation like a dream and effortless blending gives me completely flawless face. But SixPlus Flat Top Brush has not had dense bristles as they are not shorter which means it can lose its shape easily. I noticed bristles are not quite uneven. But it doesn't mean it's completely useless, you still can apply loose powder with it.

Round Top Brush

This is one of my favorite brushes. It has just the right amount of bristles densely packed on and allows a liquid foundation to give a flawlessly smooth application.

Angled Top Brush

Like Round Top Brush, Angles Top Brush is dense too and applies cream concealers, cream blushes, and bronzers by giving seamless, but smooth blending because of its Angled top.

  • Tapered Top Brush

The Tapered top brush works great for contouring and applies product around the mouth, nose and the corners of the mouth. Because of its shape, you can't apply foundation on the whole face, but it's great for contouring and applying bronzers on your cheeks, temples and jaw line.

Flat Angled Top Brush

Flat angled top is just perfect for applying cream blushes for diffusely bold blush application though it's not stiff enough but application goes on smoothly.

SixPlus 5 Pieces Synthetic Makeup Brush set is just absolutely a steal for its price, whereas Sigma Five Pieces Synthetic Kabuki Kit priced 76.00$ and SixPlus 5Pcs Synthetic Makeup Brush set priced 21.89$ and you can get these good inexpensive makeup brushes from Color Full Online website here as they ship worldwide with free standard shipping.

What do you think about them? What are your favorite brushes?

This product sent to me for PR and however has not affected my opinion at all I have given my 100% genuine and honest about the product mentioned in the post above .

  19. Aww it's too bad the flat top brush doesn't work very well. I love flat top brushes for applying foundation. I currently have Sigma dupe kabuki brushes from a Philippine brand and they work surprisingly well and are super dense!

  31. I'm a huge make-up junkie but something I am yet to try really are these Kabuki styled brushes - they are so expensive mos of the time so it's good to see some cheaper dupes on the market. How were they for shedding and softness?
