BB Creams are hottest selling cake throughout 2013 but sadly most of them don't suit my oily skin. I tried a couple of other BB Creams this year. Let's find out Klairs Illuminating Supple BB Cream work out for me or not.

My Verdict

I have an oily skin so I seriously can't use any type of BB cream as they made me oil slick within an hour as most of them are too moisturizing or should say greasy and till date I'm not able to find any BB cream for oily skin

I've to say when I received the product and as soon as I saw the shade, I was skeptical as I was thinking it's going be too light for my NC35 skin tone like Roujkiss Enca Acne Control BB Cream which had a grayish pink undertone but to my surprise it worked quite well for me in terms of undertone and shade as it has yellow undertone. I've been using Klairs BB Cream from last three weeks and I do admit upon swatching the shade looks tad light but once blended out nicely it matches my skin tone quite well. It offers light to medium coverage and conceals minor blemishes/dark spots, redness and minimizes enlarge pores. However, if you are someone having dark spots and acne scars or major discoloration you may need a separate concealer for that.

Unlike some others Korean BB creams that tend to look dull and appears ashy which definitely looks devastated in pictures. I love the texture, which is thick and creamy but still gives controlled application by giving a healthy dewy finish and brightens up the face instantly without being cakey. The finish and the illuminating properties are some really good points as some of you may love glossy/dewy finish but it's just not meant for my skin type. It kinds of blends well naturally in skin without leaving a drastic ashy cast on me like my RoujKiss BB Cream. With having SPF40/PA++ protection, you are in safe hands and can skip your everyday sunscreen. Since I've no wrinkles I seriously can't say about wrinkle care. I'm really not pleased with the sebum control as my T-zone gets shiny within two hours even after dusting off the translucent powder and by third hour I need to blot excess oil/sebum from my face which I simply hate. But if you are someone having dry/normal skin, it will be an extra bounty for you as it does moisturize quite well and going to lasts on you for about four five hours easily as it contain Hyaluronic Acid. I'm looking forward to using it winter and I'm sure it'd work fine for me too.

 My Rating
3.5/5

Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream comes in a 40ml tube with a nozzle. I like the black and beige classy packaging a lot as very convenient to toss in your bag and to travel with. The shade range, however is limited. It's priced 22.48$ and can be purchased from WishTrend's Official  Website. They ship worldwide.

  1. Lovely review you have it here. I have this product and I might say I just love this product because it does not give those dull effect on my face as you'd mentioned. :)

I have a combination skin and somehow this BB cream does not give me so much problem in getting oily after several hours, maybe because I often in an air-conditioned environment.

  13. I love my bb cream. I never used to be into it until I realized it had a slight skin tone shade to it to cover up that pasty white of the SPF. This looks like a really good one!
