-Weight loss-

 Many of us are battling with weight problems and how hard it can be, just ASK ME. I was a cute kid. A really, very cute kid and when you're a single child of your parents were cherry on top. I have been heavy my entire life, at my largest, I was 220 lbs and a size 20. I'd lost some good amount of weight 5 years back but now I've to do it again. As the title says it all, I've started a fitness series ''From Flab To Fab'' where I'll be sharing my stories, progress,tips, pitfalls, healthy recipes and a lot more every Friday.


My Story 

I have had been heavy my entire life, at my largest I was 220 lbs and a size 20. I hated how I looked and how I felt but I never paid attention. I'd tried loosing weight earlier but inevitably something happened, I gave up and gained it back.

In 2014, earlier this year I had enough of being fat, I hated that I was always the fattest person in the family and friends. I started reading various fitness blogs, books, and joined different fitness pages and websites about losing weight and GOD knows from where I found my LIFE CHANGER, MY MENTOR Zarah's NOW OR NEVER, a fitness page and blog with quite some information and a various juicing recipes and life style that highlighted clean eating. No chemicals, diet pills, starvation, or surgical procedures.

January 2014

I started my journey earlier this year in March by clean eating for two weeks and 5 meals a day and then started doing workout. I started cooking for myself and enjoyed taking better care of myself, but most of all I enjoyed the food I cook. I taught myself to cook and with that how to lose weight.I stopped eating all processed foods, anything with chemicals, preservatives and artificial sweeteners,junk, flours, rice, potatoes, pasta and increased my water intake and include green tea in my life. The weight just started to fall off!!! 

Now I was eating real food every day and drinking lots of water. My calorie count went up to 1200-1400 and the weight flew off. I had been struggling to lose weight by eating 5 small meals a day, 5x a week workout for 45-60 mins.

For me, CARDIO was the key to kick start my journey and within days the pounds started dropping and I started seeing a big difference. JUICING had done such miraculous effect on me and I'm hooked. Not only, I look good but feel good too. I am aiming to be on 123-127. Once I reach my weight, I will continue juicing and just remain on HEALTHY but CLEAN eating forever. :D

  5. Good luck reaching your goal weight. I know exactly how hard it is. Three years ago I lost six stone and it changed my life for the better. I went from a size 18 to a size 8/10 and I've been fitter and happier than I've ever been. It's hard work, but it's totally worth it in the end.

  30. inspiring! i put on 8kg over 3 months of school vacation and never managed to lose it even after 3 years. i took up a gym membership and started exercising much more. but it merely let my body fat decrease and increases my muscle mass. my overall shape remains pretty much and same and my weight even increased a little. :(
